Welcome to RideCrew! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RideCrew mobile application (“App”) and related services (“Services”). By using our App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use RideCrew. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not create more than one account or share your account with others

4. The Service

RideCrew provides convoy coordination tools for group road trips, including:

• Creating and managing convoys with multi-stop routes
• Real-time live location tracking shared among convoy members
• Turn-by-turn navigation overlay
• Invite-based convoy membership with admin approval
• Automatic leader failover to co-admins
• Trip history and route review

RideCrew is a coordination tool — not a navigation app, ride-hailing service, or transportation provider. Users are solely responsible for safe driving and compliance with all traffic laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App while driving in a manner that distracts from safe operation of your vehicle
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or traffic rules
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the App
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful content
• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose

6. Convoy Rules

• Convoy admins are responsible for managing their convoy membership and approving join requests
• Admins may remove members or end convoys at any time
• Members must respect admin decisions regarding convoy management
• Location sharing is visible to all convoy members — manage your privacy settings accordingly

7. Subscriptions & Payments

• RideCrew offers free and paid subscription tiers (Silver, Gold, Corporate)
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the billing period
• Joining convoys created by others is always free — no plan required
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support for assistance

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, design, logos, and trademarks are the property of RideCrew and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our materials without written permission.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., trip names, profile photos). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, display, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data, routes, or navigation directions. Always exercise independent judgment and comply with local traffic laws when driving.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDECREW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Inaccurate location data, routes, or navigation directions
• Actions of other convoy members or third parties
• Driving-related accidents or incidents

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RideCrew, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → “Delete account”
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
